Why are pigeons a problem and what risks do they pose?

The spike system is suitable as a protection against pigeons for both repressive and preventive treatment. Anti-pigeon spikes consist of a plastic strip into which thin stainless steel spikes are clamped to prevent pigeons from landing on the treated area.
Spikes against pigeons does not affect the aesthetic appearance of the building in any way. The system is very discreet thanks to the transparent base tape and thin stainless steel tips that will once and for all solve your problem with intrusive birds, be it pigeons or any other species.
Anti-pigeon mesh system is the only 100% effective protection of loggias, balconies, skylights and tower walkways. The net is fixed around the perimeter of the space by means of a flexible steel frame, which consists of steel eyes clamped in plastic dowels, and through which a steel cable stretched using a tension screw is stretched. The net is attached to the frame created in this way, which is able to accurately copy the perimeter of the secured object, using special pliers and aluminum clips.
The steel frame material can be stainless steel or galvanized steel. The system is discreet and almost imperceptible from the ground. The thickness of the material from which the net is made is 1 mm. The size of each mesh is 50 x 50 mm.

For larger areas such as balconies, loggias, courtyards, skylights, industrial halls or complex architectural elements, pigeon nets are the most effective and reliable choice.
When securing certain areas and objects such as frescoes, statues, balconies, walkways, skylights and others, it is advisable to combine spike barrier against pigeons with the app protective nets. These nets, including their attachment system, are made of highly resistant materials, guaranteeing a long service life. The material and its color are always chosen with maximum inconspicuousness in mind.
The assembly of the anti-pigeon spikes is done on a dry and clean surface by gluing with the help of a neutral transparent silicone sealant. The service life of the tip system is long due to the high-quality materials used. The basic UV tape is made of stable polycarbonate material from a German manufacturer. The spikes must always be on the edge of the protected surface, or to increase the protective effect, they can exceed the edge by approx. 1 cm.
Only a system with a closed row of spikes can be used on the edge.
